Learn all the details that will help you before you go to work and during your stay abroad.

Work

  • Anyone who lives and/or works in the Netherlands or Belgium is legally obliged to take out health insurance. When you start working, PrismaWorx will register you with a health insurance that charges a reasonable premium. This way, you are guaranteed good basic health care. If you work in the Netherlands, the health insurance premium will be deducted from your salary. If you work in Belgium, the health insurance premium will be collected directly by the insurer. You can also take out another insurance policy if you prefer to work in Belgium. You will then have to provide PrismaWorx with a copy of the document proving your registration with the insurance company. If PrismaWorx does not receive this copy, you will still remain insured under the PrismaWorx collective health insurance.
  • Always remember to take some money with you for the first week in the Netherlands. You will also have to pay for the initial deposits from your salary: Shoes €25 (customer) time registration badge €50,- (if applicable) The deposit will be refunded when you return your things.

  • No, you can register with PrismaWorx free of charge.

  • The first step is to register online. Apply for a vacancy or complete the registration form. Then our recruitment colleagues will contact you.

  • Yes, of course we offer work for couples.

  • Yes, of course. If you already have your own flat, we will try to find a job near your home. It is also possible to rent a flat through PrismaWorx.

  • An employment contract is concluded for a standard period of 6 months. We usually have long-term projects. We always inform in advance about the preferred working period.

Accommodation

  • Yes, it is possible to rent a flat on your own. It is also possible to start working in one of our accommodation facilities. You can start living in your own flat at any time.

  • Yes, our accommodations comply with SNF standards. We pay great attention to the satisfaction of our employees.

  • We usually provide accommodation in typical Dutch or Belgian houses. All accommodation units have a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. Please check out our accommodation page to get a first impression. At a later stage of recruitment we will send you more information about the accommodation you will be staying in.

Salary

  • It depends on many factors. Think about your age, job vacancy, number of working hours, possible changes, etc. Our recruiters will be happy to give you further information during the application process.

  • Our clients offer an average of 38 to 40 hours per week.

  • Your weekly earnings depend on the salary you receive as well as the average number of hours you work per week. Your salary depends on which country you work in: the Netherlands or Belgium.

Coronavirus

  • Yes, there is a difference. The Netherlands and Belgium do not have the same restrictions on COVID-19. Some of them are the same, such as social distancing. Remember that some regions may have additional / different restrictions! Always check the government website for the latest information

Transport

  • If you take the bus, check what kind of luggage you can take with you. If you travel with GTV, you can take 30 kg of luggage. Don’t forget to take your own pillow and sheets!
